Although he was the one on the bottom Joe was a pushy bottom so shouted at John to "go faster" or "slower" and took the entire evening picking who "deserved" to go home with him.

Cart Pusher

A retail store worker , who's job is to gather and carry carts from the parking to the store . Often considered below low-wage workers , they are typically maltreaded by their managers or customers and are also looked down by lazy customers who let their carts far away from the cart retrieval zones .

I have been a cart pusher for 5 years now . No one seems to stay more than a few months before getting fired or finding another job

Someone who works in an incredibly boring job. Most likely the person themselves also exudes extreme boringness. I.e. an accountant, or one whose job is meaningless, and invites people that have no personalities to join and TALK.
