job phishing

An internet phishing scam specifically targeted at job seekers. Fake jobs are posted on job boards where job seekers are only too interested to divulge personal information. This personal information is used for telemarketing, collecting personal passwords and in the most advanced schemes, identity theft.

The job posting on the internet seemed too good to be true and on further investigation, it turned out they were job phishing and I almost fell for it.

phishing expedition

A large scale spam operation aimed at getting unsuspecting people's passwords to their online banking sites, eBay and PayPal accounts and other points of interest on the web. Usually involves an alarming email message informing the recipient that his account's been compromised or a security upgrade in in progress that contains a link to a fake web site that's been made to look like the real thing. The email insists that in order to keep your account active, you MUST click the link and log in - thus giving the people running the phishing expedition access to your account.

That phishing expedition seems to have worked, we got access to over 500 new accounts.

The National Society of Pershing Rifles Fraternity. The only collegiate level military fraternity. Founded in 1894 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Generally participates quite closely with collegiate ROTC programs of all branches.

- Tactical P/R Chapter: Pledging, what's that? I signed papers and am now a member of the "honor society".

Pershing Middle School

A school filled with kids and teachers.
Most of the kids that go to pershing goes to pershing because they didn't get accepted to Lanier, the arch rival of pershing and kids with supposely "unusually long fingers".

Perhsing is filled with kids who re so damn loud and annoying as hell. Only kids who act like them can take them. Perhsing is also filled with kids who are quiet and NOT annoying and is actually col to hang with.

Pershing is also ALSO filled with kids who live so close that they can arive any damn time they want to because they live so close. I'm one of them.

The most you can do is try not to pis the teachers off on a bad day. They take their anger off the kids. sometimes.
