nepotusm

The practice by the President Of The United States of openly favoring relatives or friends, for instance by arranging environmentally destructive business deals he has invested in, criticising stores for refusing to sell his daughter's fashion line or by dismantling laws that are restricting his friends at the big banks to make up their own rules, preferably by shouting it out via his @potus Twitter account.
Did you see Donald Trump's angry tweet aimed at Nordstrom this morning? Another fine example of nepotusm.

Napotism

A particularly strong form of nepotism, where not only are family members given preference in hiring and promotion, but often in the face of incompetence, poor work ethic, or literally sleeping on the job.
The owner wouldn't fire his son even after learning that whenever he's out of town, his son will use his father's office to take naps while everyone else continues to do their jobs. If that's not napotism, I don't know what is!

Nepotism

Appointing one family no matter how unqualified they are.
Donald Trump appointed his daughter's husband to be a key member of his administration. Despite the $2.5million in bribes paid to get into Harvard Jared had mediocre grades, an acumen for making horrible business decisions and a general lack of real-world qualifications. Jared has an impressive resume including bringing peace to the Middle East(after reading 25 books), solving America's opioid epidemic while on a golf outing with his father in law, negotiating Mexico to pay for the wall with his housekeeper, brought peace to North Korea and China, reforming the USA criminal justice system, and helping to reform the US Government into a privately owned company in a blatant act of nepotism.
