It is the direct, subjective perception of the world, such as the physical sensation of touching something hot or the smell of baking bread. In contrast, mediate experience involves a subsequent layer of thought where the initial perception is analyzed, judged, or understood based on prior knowledge and beliefs.
Scrolling through Instagram is cool, but sometimes I miss the immediate experience of just enjoying a sunset without thinking about how to capture it for likes.
