Maria Gasolina

In Brazil, a woman who only dates men who have cars, because it shows a certain social status and wealth. These women obviously deny this realty except for a few honest ones that are proud to be "selective". Of course, whether these women are honest or in denial, they should be avoided at all cost! The name Maria can after be used with any last name to show that the certain women is only looking for this detail (example: Maria Money/Maria Playboy...)

woman:"so, can you come and pick me up at my place?"
man:"could you be anymore of a Maria Gasolina?"
woman:"...."(silence indicating guilt)
man:"that's what I thought!"

gashcore

Music that is extremely unpleasant on the ears, causing intense displeasure and shouldn't be described as real music i.e. Nickleback. A portmanteau of the adjective British slang usage of gash, meaning something rubbish, worthless or very bad and the suffix "-core" derived from the word hardcore, used here to add extremism. It is satire of the overuse of -core to create new musical sub-genres.

"What on earth are you listening to? That music is gashcore mate! Put something better on."
"Don't let Joe pick the music, he'll put gashcore on"

The GasCan Project

An artistic or musical endeavor that's doomed to fail and therefore should be covered in gas before ever attempting.

Also can be used to describe music created in the closet of a trailer and hyped on Reverbnation. Literally "coming out of the closet trailer park music".

"I was thinking of starting a band, but I'm sure it would end up being a Gas Can Project."

"My buddy is coming over later to give me an "oral presentation". I think we'll do it in my closet and call it The GasCan Project."

Can be used to describe where an individual,such as this, lives as well: "Yeah you can come over and record some music in my closet, I live in the GasCan Projects...."

The last time I did Gascid, I took 200 micrograms of Acid, started the Nitrous at about the 5th hour, and did 50 whippets of over the next two and a half hours, toured almost the entire universe, hung out with all of my ancestors and a few of my descendants, Experienced the most perfect moment of my life - *again* - and after cocktails, made love with God for a few eternities.
