eighth grade syndrome

A period of time when one is searching for oneself. Can also be when one wants to act more adult-lik such as drinking coffee black despite hating the taste of coffee in general. Often results in shame, disgust, and the wish erase that period of time from existence in later years.

Girl 1: remember when you died your hair pink and got a bunch of piercings?

Girl 2: don't remind me, I had eighth grade syndrome.

The average time it takes a weed lover to smoke their eighth. The length of an eighth week varies depending on several variables. These variables include, but are not limited to, size of bank account, employment status, and boredom level of the weed consumer.

Guy 1: How long is your eighth week since you got fired?
Guy 2: Dude, only like two days.
Guy 1: Whoa.

Guy 1: Man, I haven't seen that girl in an eighth week.
Guy 2: How long is that?
Guy 1: I don't know, like 4 days.

Scientist 1: We are running low on supplies, we must increase the size of our eighth week until this crisis is over.
