etherkiller

Device for instantly killing computer equipment: an Ethernet jack on one side, spliced to a power cord on the other end. When plugged into an internet port, floods the computer with electricity, thus destroying it. Invented by the BOFH (Bastard Operator From Hell) from Simon Travaglia.

The IT guy was pissed off about being fired, so he took his etherkiller from router to router, frying them.

This term was coined by the Rhett and LinKast Live for their assistant.

eHERF. This is still the act of getting together among other social smokers, but is all done through the Internet and in your own home. A new site called www.eHERF.com started about a month or so ago. They are taking eHERF to the limit by having weekly eHERFs done with Voice over IP. So instead of doing any traveling in can be done in your own home and you can still chat to other eHERFER's.

Edmere

A Victorian ladies name which regained popularity in Glasgow high society around the 1940's. An 'Edmere' is likely to enjoy crosswords, brandy, closet homosexuals and furless cats- their fur obviously being used for her underwear. Up until the turn of the century, it was believed that only one 'Edmere' existed, however just last year Queen Elizabeth II gave birth to one. An 'Edmere' can be recognised by her un-even gait and penchant for French haute couture.
