btdubz is used more orally than on writing though is not limited to just be used in speech. BTW is the actual meaning of BTDUBZ with the use of the letters B & T but using -DUBZ- as a replacement for the W

Just a cooler way to say BTW so that you don't look like that nerd using all the lame acronyms. If you used BTW before then you can change and instantly regain respect. True story.

bt dubs

an abbreviation for the abbreviation of "by the way". Saying "bee tee double you" just sounds lame. Therefore, this was an absolutely necessary addendum to the dictionary of abbreviations.
