It's what you say as a final retort to end an online debate when someone blocks you because they can't win in a contest of logic with you. Best said when someone accuses you of the various internet "maladies" such as "special snowflake syndrome". Also best to be said when the opposing debater characterizes that malady which they accuse you of having after you attempt a dedicated, rational debate.
She honestly tried to convince me that donuts won't make you fat, and I quoted a reputable source to contradict her, so she blocked me. Haha, Thank God For Block!

Get the Thank God For Block mug.No. No. I don't accept Jordan Peterson's consideration regarding what constitutes ✌️✊️✌️God✌️✊️✌️ because HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTIONS DID NOT CREATE THE UNIVERSE.
Hym "But that's what he does! He creates this '*blank* is my God' paradigm where he conflates 'God' with ANY HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTION THAT MOTIVATES BEHAVIOR so the HE can USE THAT CONFLATION when he needs to make a point. So, to Jordan Peterson, God is LITERALLY whatever he needs it to be, moment to moment, to get people to do what he wants people to do (Marry his daughter, give him your money). And THAT LOGIC... Also applies to ANY HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTION. So GOD and ANY HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTION... Are synonymous. Maturity? Whatever he needs it to be, moments to moment. Pride? Whatever he needs it to be, moment to moment. I reject his conceptualization of God entirely. There is A WAY IN WHICH you could CONSIDER that 'God' (in like a broad, abstract sense) but THAT ISN'T WHAT IT IS IN THE BOOK! A higher-order abstraction did not tell Moses to liberate the Jews. A Saul didn't disobey a higher-order abstraction. Maturity didn't order Saul to slaughter all of the men, women, children, and cattle of the Amalekites and then (subsequently) exiles Saul for NOT DOING THAT. Saul didn't murder them hard enough... So he got 13 year old David to murder them right, and then gave a literal child psychopath the title of king. That wasn't 'Money' that did that. It wasn't Fame, or Justice, Or, Truth, Or Warm-Fussies. So, no. And the guy in the book that had ACTUAL LINES OF DIALOGUE... Either created the universe... Or it DID NOT DO THAT... If it DIDN'T you're lying."

Get the *Blank* is my God mug.Extremely popular post-rock band from Montreal, Canada with such popular songs like "Moya", "The Dead Flag Blues" and "Rockets Fall On Rocket Falls". The band is known for creating very long, slow paced songs with complex song structures utilizing instruments such as guitars, drums, violins, keyboards and and array of pre-recorded sounds as well as speeches. Their longest song is "Providence" from their album entitled "F#A# Infinity" clocking in at 29:04. In the beginning of their career, they were known as "Godspeed You Black Emperor!", but the name was later changed to have the exclamation point after the word "You". The band got the name from a 1976 black and white Japanese documentary film about a Japanese biker gang known as "The Black Emperors". Their song "Moya" shares the same name of a former member of the band Mike Moya, who along with Efrim Menuck and Mauro Pezzente formed Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Moya left the band to pursue his own band called "Hrsta"; another post rock band residing in Montreal, Canada.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor is amazing. Buy all their albums. No seriously, buy all their albums right now!

Get the godspeed you black emperor! mug.In all fairness, whether GYBE! is the best band ever or the worst bad ever in your opinion depends on how you feel about completely pure, drawn out music. The shortest song of theirs I know is almost 11 minutes long, and as far as I know, none of their music has been touched by synth pads or anything that's not an actual intsrument.

Get the godspeed you black emperor! mug.Godspeed You! Black Emporer (formerly Godspeed You Black Emporer!), is a Montreal-based post rock band. Their first full-length album, 'f# a# (infinity)', has 3 tracks totalling up to 1 hour. The tracklisting for 'f# a# (infinity)' goes as follows:
1) The Dead Flag Blues
2) East Hastings
3) Providence
They have more than just one record, however. GY!BE is well-known, but not in the 'popular music' way. They are on an indefinite hiadus, I believe.
