In common use, a YP is any gathering where a socially inept person ruins the sesh with their, ignorance, stupidity, cackling laughter at the wrong times, and sometimes (but not always) use of chest. Oh, and the person uses your weed.

Short for "young punk", a Singaporean term used to describe a wannabe gangster who is still in school. Mostly Chinese, though there are lots of YPs from other races. Usually very loud people, especially in the wrong ways. Some like to ride e-scooters and blast Chinese EDM music, and most if not all YPs smoke cigarettes or vapes. They usually hang out with XMMs, and have close to zero education, or just don't bother with education. L1R5 probably above 50, probably in ITE, or dropped out of ITE, and almost certainly couldn't understand this if they tried. An absolute disgrace to Singapore, and the people who make us look bad.
