A rap group based in new york the group consists of members rza, gza, ol dirty bastard, inspectah deck, raekwon, ghostface killah, u god, method man, masta killa, and cappadonna. The group released the album enter the Wu tang (36 chambers) in 1993 followed by wu tang forever in 1997 then the w in 2000 and shortly after iron flag in 2001 then a few years after the death of group member ol dirty bastard in 2004 the group released the album 8 diagrams in 2007 and 2 years later released chamber music in 2009 then legendary weapons in 2011 in 2014 they released a better tommorow then 4 years later released the saga continues in 2017 and in 2025 released the collab album black samson the bastard swordsman with producer mathematics. Every wu tang member has their own classic solo albums and most group and solo albums are produced by rza other than some that are produced by mathematics. Wu tang is very influential and is the best rap group ever.

Rap group originating in Staten Island (aka Shaolin), NY. Two cousins, The GZA and the RZA founded it, with RZA bein the leader. The group includes U-God, Raekwon the Chef, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, the late Ol Dirty Bastard, Method Man, and Masta Killa.
Their group came up with backronyms as well, including "Witty Unpredictable Talent And Natural Game", "Wisdom, Universe, Truth, Allah, Nation, and God" and "We Usually Take All Niggaz Garments".

When it come to original rappas, you can't get no betta than the Wu-Tang Clan.
