The best of all sleepaway camps. This Co-ed camp is in Ringde NH, and owned by the Mass Audubon Society.
There are several noteable aspects to this camp, many are the same as other camps. There are
amazing consolers, you make
friends for life, and the activities are great, but there are a few more interesting aspects. This camp's signature dish is Eggloaf, often served at breakfast, and be sure to watch out for the Walrus that lives under the iceberg! And somehow during every session, those crazy Heffalumps seem to turn up.
The facilities are deffinitley rustic: platform tents and lots of bugs, but Wildwood campers know how to get
dirty.
Over the course of the session, more inside jokes will invented than you thought possible, and you will have more
fun than you ever had in your life. Be sure host sing-alongs while shower, and shave with lotion outside in the middle of the field.
One
piece advice from one
camper to another, be sure to let
loose. Just have as much
fun as you possibly can. No one will judge you. Wildwood is the one place in the world where you can do that. Don't waste your childhood. I find myself coming back for longer each year. Intersession is the best.
1. "Oh look! There's Eggloaf for breakfast again today!"
2. Legend has it that the Walrus has inhabited the waters under the iceberg for centuries.
3. Wildwood Camp is the best place on earth. Hubbard pond and Annette state forest are so
beautiful. But even better, are the
people, who will be
friends for life at the end.
