The fundamental strategy used in Final Fantasy VII Speedruns.
Tifa's weapon, the powersoul deals more damage when near-death, but she also deals more damage if she's under Death Sentence. It works like this:
Critical (yellow) HP: 2x damage
Enemy Skill: Death Sentence: 4x damage
Materia: Deathblow: 2x damage
Together, that's 16 times normal damage. Deathblow also ignores back row, so it's 32 times back row damage. Awesome, huh? And in addition, we equip her with armor and accessories to boost her strength. This is what makes Tifa the ultimate killing machine.

As a member of Avalanche, she participates in eco terrorism in an effort to save the planet and get revenge on Shinra for the destruction of her home town, Nibelheim, and the death of everyone she knows by the legendary SOLDIER, Sephiroth. She owns and operates Seventh Heaven, the local bar, where she provides delicious food and drinks.
After reuniting with Cloud at the sector 7 train station, Tifa goes on a journey with him to settle the score with Sephiroth and save the planet, all the while showing concern for Cloud's poor mental state.
Once Cloud loses his mind in a key scene, Tifa is the only person capable of restoring him to his true self in the pivotal event of the game.
The night before the final battle they confess their love to each other and express it "without words".
They continue to live together as a family, adopting Denzel and Marlene, in the rebuilt Midgar town of Edge.

Tifa Lockhart is a female protagonist in Final Fantasy VII. She is Cloud's childhood friend from Nibelheim and a member of AVALANCHE. However, her personality is much more laid back and selfless in comparison, with a motherly streak concerning all her friends and her attitude to others. Tifa is quick to hide her true feelings from people, and her shyness is a key aspect of her character, and she is caring and loving to a fault. Tifa also owns a bar called 7th Heaven, located in Sector 7 of Midgar, which also serves as a hideout for AVALANCHE.
