The act of referring to a some act or scenario in real life that you learned about online with the expectation that parties in the discussion already know what you're talking about.

Example: (Referring to a Facebook checkin at X last night) "So what did you think about X?"

"So what did you think about X?"
"Technophora at its finest."

Example: The 79 year old lady I spoke with on the phone today who was a victim of credit card fraud was technophobic.
