Serotonin

Serotonin, also known as the "feel good hormone" is a neurotransmitter known for boosting your mood. Not only does it help boost your mood, but it also plays a role in maintaining good digestive health. In fact 90% of serotonin is produced in the intestines and the blood platelets. If you have a high self esteem, sleep well, generally in a good mood, enjoy a healthy diet, memorize things easily and have a strong sexual desire, then that means your serotonin levels are at an adequate level which maintains good mental health as a result. Signs that serotonin levels are at a lower level are if one is angry, has a lower self esteem, comfort eats, and forgets things easier, this means that one may be serotonin deficient and may result in depression and anxiety. To boost your serotonin levels, eat foods like chicken, cheese, beans and bananas. Also get enough carbohydrates. You may want to sit out in the sun as Vitamin D helps maintain a sufficient quantity of serotonin levels.

Serotonin Shot

Noun. - To "milk" a persons spine by roughly rubbing their lower back all the way to the brain stem, normally when the recipient is in a "praying to Alla" pose.
