schlift(verb). A term used to describe the movement of an object or objects while under the influence of hallucinogenics (i.e high).

On a lazy Sunday afternoon, while they were contemplating the deeper meaning of liff, Neil and Stef happened to ever so subtly glance at the dusty unkept bookshelf and unbeknown to either party, the above said bookshelf magically schlifted, to the left.
