A way to describe obtaining a large amount of a substance for a group of three to eight people.

(after ordering four pizzas)
"Hey did ou get enough food for you, bob and I?"
"Of course dude, I ordered our pizza refugee family style"

Usually works because of the power of sheer desperation.

girl 1: weren't you gonna dump your bf today?
girl 2: yea...but he got down on his knees with a basket of roses and begged me to forgive him...
girl 1: Oh wow. I guess he pulled a prayer of the refugee. You didn't have a chance.

refugee camp

Refers to a group of ethnically exclusionary immigrants that occupy multiple units or residences inside the same apartment building or neighborhood. The term does not necessarily indicate individuals with poor economic conditions.

For instance a large concentration of middle class, immigrant computer programmers residing in close proximity in the same apartment building would create a refugee camp.

The term is especially applicable to immigrants who refuse to interact widely with individuals outside of their own perceived ethnic group.

Such individuals may harbor racist feelings towards other ethnic groups but go unchallenged due to their recent immigrant status.

Groups of immigrants that live in close proximity to one another in the same apartment building but interact little with other residents would create a refugee camp.

refugee rice

The rice that comes in the large sacks that are dropped on 3rd world countries. Mix with some ghetto-cheese and you've got one damn good free meal.

I stole some refugee rice from some poor family when i visited Ghana. It was a little stale, but it was damn good.

ebay refugee

some one who got burned one time too many on ebay and fled the comunity. can be a buyer or seller usually some what bitter over the way ebay and paypal treated them. truly believes ebay's talk about comunity is bullshit, and ebay dosen't care what happens as long as it gets paid.

a person who uses craigslist or other local sites to buy and sell,takes only cash, and inspects the merchandise before buying. i'm a ebay refugee it's more trouble to go to the flea market, but there i can handle what i'm buying. mikie the yorkie is a ebay refugee who hangs at craigslist.
