Photophobia is a fear of, or adverse physical or psychological reaction to light. Whether from rapid change of light intensity, or sudden burst of bright light, as from a camera flash. Not to be confused with heliophobia, which is a fear of the Sun.

Philophobia

Although butterflies in the stomach are often associated with love, for someone with philophobia those butterflies are more like deadly scorpions, as they are petrified of falling in love. Unfortunately many people in this category end up living a life of solitude and fear of commitment.

It seems Stalin suffered from philophobia. He never had a deep personal relationship with anybody, a man or a woman, either friendship or love.
