1. v. - the act of harassing a driver, from the passenger seat, into attempting to fit his car into a space that is too small.

2. v. - ridiculing a driver, from the passenger seat, during the act of parallel parking.

1. Passenger: "Whoa, you banged that fender pretty hard."

Driver: "Well, I didn't think I would fit here until all your parallel snarking about how easy it would be to pull in."

2. Passenger: "Dude, how many times are you going to back up and pull forward until you stick the landing?

Driver: "Hey, I can't concentrate on what I'm doing if you're sitting there parallel snarking."

The phenomena that occurs when an online chat morphs into two parallel conversations, usually as a result of one person continuing a conversation without realizing that the other person has changed the subject.

Person A: Yeah its funny how beer and weed can make you feel like you're peeing when combined.
Person A: Anyway, what's your favorite flavor of cotton candy?
Person B: Yeah this one time I smoked a spliff and downed a 40, and it felt like Niagara falls down there .

Running two arguments side by side under different and contradictory rule sets. Especially, creating an analogy and denying that others make conclusions between them.

P1: I go through harassment from the leaders of this organization just as the Jews went through harassment from Nazi officers.
P2: You haven't as much as been placed under surveillance, let alone that kind of duress.
P1: I'm not comparing the two! I'm using parallel logic.
