Founded by Ingrid Newkirk in the 1980s, the basic ideals of the organization are "Animals aren't ours to eat, wear, or expiriment on". They accomplish getting this message across by flashy and risque protests and demonstrations, usually involving nudity.

they took a completely healthy chihuahua off of someone's property and euthanized it for no valid reason.

Nah, I don't think even Euthanasia works. God, they loot your houses and burn your medicial research building just to free some animal.
What about humans? I mean, we are after all, classified as animals. Seriously PETA, go fight in Afghanistan. Then, we'll discuss on your "ethcial treatment of animals".
SPCA dosen't advertise and yet they're more effective than you guys.
