It is a real conversation maker which could lead you no to the same conversation you always have.

in the subject line of an e-mail, (nm) stands for no message. that is, the sender is so to the point that he needed only the subject line to express himself, so there's no need for the reader to open the (blank) message.

Probably the most annoying excuse of a word ever invented. Used mostly in Instant messengers and text messaging it is a way for the other person to show you that they could give a shit about what you think/do/exist etc... it stands for "nothing much" and should never be used by any man or woman. and if used tell them they are a fag and should go kill themselves.

Bob: yooo.
Fred: Eyy whats good kid?
Bob: nm.
Fred: Your such a fag man you should go kill yourself.

Quite possibly the most annoying "Word" knows to the "English speaking nation." shortened, or "1137" way of saying "Not Much."
Its just that our time has gotten to lazy to type nothing much, which is stupid because if your not doing anything you should be able to type "Nothing much".
