novation

An improper word coming from incorrectly assuming that the first two letters <in> in <innovation> are a negating prefix (like incapable), and removing them to negate the meaning once more. The opposite of innovation, familiarity, imitation, etc. May also mean going in the opposite direction of innovation, reversion, degeneration, etc.
You don't have to reinvent the wheel with this novation every time you want to change that.

Neorationalism

A modern revival of extreme rationalist philosophy which posits that reason and rationality are the only tools capable of determining objective reality. It explicitly devalues empirical observation, intuition, and embodied experience as unreliable or secondary. Reality is what can be deduced, not what can be sensed.
Neorationalism Example: An online community that tries to deduce the principles of a perfect society entirely from first philosophical principles and game theory, dismissing historical examples and sociological data as “corrupted” evidence. They believe pure reason, from an armchair, can blueprint reality.

negated negation

A prefix which should, but does not, negate the word to which it is attached. While 'mobility' and 'immobility' are opposites, as are 'effective' and 'ineffective', the words 'passivity' and 'impassivity' mean the same thing, as do the words 'flammable' and 'inflammable'.
Tired of being described as passive, he decided to be more impassive. He'd be a man of action, or maybe even inaction. What difference could a negated negation make?
