Niagara Falls does mean a waterfall or city. But it also means a girls period. It is tycially used for girls to talk about among each other without others knowing. It is a nickname for period because for some it might feel like Niagara Falls is coming out of them. Note that you don't say the word period. Just Niagra falls.

Niagara Falls, NY: A shithole.
Niagara Falls, ON, Canada: Slightly better than Niagara Falls, New York, but still a shithole, despite what people think. Due to the tourism many are deluded into thinking that Niagara Falls is a clean, thriving city. This is primarily due to the upkeep of the tourist section of it, however, one only has to go up a couple blocks from the main tourist area to be in the dirtiest, grimiest part of town.

If Niagara Falls, NY, is a shithole, Niagara Falls, ON is an outhouse.

Do not confuse Niagara Falls, New York for Niagara Falls, Ontario. Niagara Falls, NY is a hole. Niagara Falls, ON is beautiful. Then again, most Americans have yet to actually visit the real Niagara Falls.

Only thing Niagara Falls, NY is good for is cheap gas. Even the whores in Niagara Falls, ON are better.
