A team or clan of low level novice players that travel in packs. They are over confident and often get themselves killed due to sheer n00bishness. A n00b team counts quantity over quality.

I p0wned a n00b herd that attacked me in the widly. Gotta love those n00bs.

n00bed

To be defeated or bested or to fail, usually in a first-person shooter video game (though it can apply to other situations as well), by a 'n00b' tactic. Also to be bested by a n00b for any reason in any situation.

I got n00bed at spawn by Tardzilla over there.

n00b cannon

Any sort of weapon that can be "effortlessly" used to kill another in a video game, usually a First Person Shooter. These weapons are also usually, but not always, shotguns.

Often, these "n00b cannons" have heavy disadvantages, and the guy who keeps getting killed is probably doing something horribly wrong.

Regardless, use of these weapons in public multiplayer will get you mocked and shunned, even though they are valid weapons, with only a couple exceptions.

The Flux Gun in Savage.
The Auto Shotgun in Counter Strike.
The Grub from Gunbound could possibly be considered a n00b cannon.
The Shotgun in Natural Selection.
The SPAS in Navy Seals-Covert Operations.
The Chaingun in Team Fortress
The OICW in SWAT 3.
The Panzerfaust in Enemy Territory. (Restricted on some servers)
The Jackhammer in Planetside.

See any patterns in there? Lots of fast-firing shotguns. Anyone ever hear of sniper rifles to counter?

A younger version of a n00b. Their age range is about 5-10. Their posts usually consist of kiddie shows, and unnessicary swearing at anyone who disagrees.

Ozz-n00b

A person who thinks they know all there is to know (or enough) about the heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne, but is really as ignorant as shit about his music and life.

This is usually because they have either:

Only listened to or heard of the song 'Paranoid' or his lastest album Black Rain. (There is a 40 YEAR back catalogue of gold to experiance folks!)

OR

Watched a couple of episodes of the semi-relatity show 'The Osbournes' and thinks that entitles them to an ignorant opinion of Ozzy as a brainless idiot. Which could not be further from the truth if it went to Pluto.

N00b in Denial

Someone who sparks random conversation with you declaring their supremacy in gaming skills over you. These accusations are 99% false, as the other 1 percent only occur if A n00b in denial sparks conversation with another n00b. The n00b will continue to spew his illusion of greatness in a strange and foriegn strategy of N00blish designed to confuse the victim and have them unknowningly admit verbal defeat. In many cases though, the n00b will gradually admit that they are inferior to the victim after prolonged argument.
This n00b hybrid is much more common to find in person than on forums and low hype MMO's. This hybrid n00b requires face to face confrontation to thrive. The n00b continues to thrive best when able to see their victims faces and expression of disgust with their ignorance.

Mitch! I don't care! God man you are a total n00b!!!

NO I'M NOT! IM JUST BETTER THAN YOU AND YOU CANT HANDLE THAT! 1337!!!
