Ignoring contact(i.e. calls, and, PMs) from a person who you find annoying in some way instead of letting them know, because, when you decide to converse they provide some benefit.

Karen is so overt that I'm muting her, until I feel bad enough about myself to sleep with her again.

Karl keeps checking on me, but, I have him on mute; 'till I start freaking out about work again.
