Lolz 

First of all anyone to use this phrase is simply worthless. The average teenage AIM user is so lazy they don't have the time to type "haha" in reference to something funny. But now they resort to more desperate measures to be ridiculous they add a "z" to an already terrible phrase. I am assuming it refers to something like LAUGHING OUT LOUD, ZORO, or, LAUGHING OUT LOUD ZEBRA. Which simply translates into I am worthless and should not be alive, and the least I can do for the world is leave.

Laughing out loud with style!
Normally its used so u don't sound
boring saying "lol" every 5 seconds.
The "z" doesn't mean anything really
its more of spongebob's and patricks
sentence "enhancers".
Z is for flare baby! ;3
It also can be used for an awkward laugh
in strange "wtf" situations.

Kid: dude what's up?
Kid2: Nothing man, i just broke my neck
on a skateboard while trying to slap
mah hoe!
Kid: wtf? lolz....

basicly, laughing out loud. the Z is there to indicate lots of laughing (like when somethings is kinda funny and you kinda laugh a bit wait a sec and laugh some more wait a sec and laugh a bit more..)

A Word used to often replace "Haha" or "LOL" or "XD".
It is usually said in response to something that isn't even very funny, and therefore it is said typically in a sarcastic tone.
