FSU (Friends Stand United) is a group/gang/crew that was formed in Boston Massachusetts in the late 80's that was originally made to kick the racism and Nazi's out of the Hardcore music scene.
The unifying idea of FSU was more than to get rid of Racism and Nazi's. It was all about loyalty and brotherhood; Some of the ethos of the Hardcore scene. A real tight band of brothers that always stick together and always look out for one another.
FSU being one of the most notorious and infamous hardcore crews of today. Being banned from clubs, bars, and venues for the things they stand for are seen to be "violent", "nasty", and "disrespectful".
With nationwide chapters in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Seattle, Chicago, Nor Cal, and Los Angeles. Including bands like Righteous Jams(Boston), Shattered Realm(Fort Lauderdale), Furious Styles(Seattle), Death Before Dishonor(Boston), Ramallah, Donnybrook(L.A.), Blood Stands Still(L.A.), and others.

Stands for "Friends Stand United." A hardcore crew formed in South Boston. Now a nationwide movement. Known for vicious acts of violence against racist groups and any who oppose straight edge. Listed as a gang unit in many cities. Some say it lacks structure and balance. Some stand by their FSU roots.

FSU is a gang started by Bruce Sartwell in 1986 in New Hampshire, Portland Maine, New Haven Connecticut and Boston Massachusetts. The gang is an offshoot of several Neo-Nazi Skinhead groups and White Power organizations including the Hammerskins, the Aryan Nation and the Aryan Brotherhood. The group would commit Hate Crime robberies and beatings of blacks, Jews, Latinos and homosexuals, particularly targeting minorities in the underground punk/hardcore music scene and drug dealers whom they would rob and sell the drugs themselves. After moving from city to city and changing their names to avoid arrest for their Hate Crimes, the gang “reinvented itself” as an ANTI-RACIST group, which is completely untrue. They self-released a series of videos they made themselves, claiming they were anti-racist and anti-fascist entitled Boston Beatdown Part one and two. The gang then claimed to be from Boston, which the creators were not, and later filmmaker “Elgin James” did a series of interviews claiming he had started the group and that he was from Boston, and “straight edge”. James bragged about seriously harming and killing people in numerous interviews. He did not start this “gang”, and denies his past as a member of several racist white nationalist and white power skinhead groups.

Fucking shit up may also include low-key things such as: Chilling with your friends, smoking weed in a tent, or loitering around your neighborhood shopping center with other people who have nothing better to do.
This acronym may be used when one wishes to appear as if they have a life, have a life resembling that of the movie "Jackass" or in any situation in which something crazy and out of the ordinary for that particular group occurs.
