Episcopal High School is a school where you go if you are either intellegent, athletic, charismatic, musical, artistic, or any that good stuff. It is also known as EHS.
Has great facilities, like a state of the art Science center, a amazing Art center which is full of beutiful paintings and pictures, a Library with incredible ammounts of books and movies to rent. It also has amazing faculty.
Of course, occasionaly loses to Woodberry Forest School in football, but the record is pretty close, around 50/50.
When it comes to most other sports, like wrestling, basketball, and especially soccer, with the EHS soccer team becoming state champions, EHS destroys Woodberry.
EHS is also right next to the major city of Washington DC, instead of being in the middle of nowhere (well, besides next to a farm with sheep- cough Woodberry cough- ) which let's the students able to go to see concerts, museums, plays, shops, and many other things.

Get the Episcopal High School mug.The Episcopal Academy, also known as a small utopia (aside from the not so attractive and soon to be relocated campus) in the Main Line of Pennsylvania, is characterized by its party goer, polo wearing and polo playing, mostly Caucasian students. When one pulls into the Episcopal Campus one would feel as if they were in a luxury car seller's finest garage. Past the cars are the flawless looking girls, 99% of whom have popped collars, play 3 sports or sport north face fleeces, and also have self tanning down to an art. Then the boys, who also share the north face fleece look, wear ck Bradley belts or Roca Wear sweatshirts, and are notorious for their sports, especially EA basketball- where the churchmen win the Inter Ac annually. After school hours, EA kids continue with their athletics by playing some beer pong and also taking occasional wawa trips. Contrary, to the teacher's beliefs EA kids are intelligent and tend to go to off to elite schools across the country after graduation, yet they do not always stay in these schools due to the Episcopal partier mentality. Although many EA students are trapped in an EA bubble, EA would be a lot less interesting without its very competitive rivals, Haverford (where the girls go for boys) and Agnes Irwin (where the boys go for girls they can more "easily" get with). A culmination of this rivalry can be seen on Episcopal/ Haverford Day where both schools compete for a very sacred sweater. Finally, EA kids do work hard, but party harder: they tend to crash daddy's BMW, but always get a Range Rover back in return, they are skilled at chasing a shot with a beer while people are screaming "YOU WONT" in the background- lastly, following these nights they learn to blame their morning-after sickness on food poisoning, to their main line moms and then repeat this cycle the following weekend in order to keep the EA spirit alive.

In June of 1998, as part of its strategic plan, the Episcopal Academy Board of Trustees directed the "active pursuit of a large tract of land in the western suburbs to serve as a long-term asset and a means of preserving future options."
With this charge, a small group of dedicated visionaries contributed close to $20 million in 2000, enabling us to acquire 123 acres of rolling pasture and mature trees unlike any other on the Main Line. The natural setting is beyond compare and provides a fitting environment for our educational mission.
Furthermore, the site is strategically located in Newtown Square, which is in the heart of the fastest growing region of greater Philadelphia, and yet still only 30 minutes from Center City. We could not have imagined a more perfect location.
Why build an entirely new campus? Episcopal Academy is a far larger, more complex community than it was even twenty years ago.
Today, more students are taking more courses in the same buildings and playing more sports on the same courts and fields than ever before.
Twenty-five years ago, the Academy offered eight Advanced Placement courses; today we offer fourteen. Modern language instruction begins in grade six, not grade eight, and the offerings in history, religion, music, drama, and Upper School mathematics have increased.
The advantages of constructing a new campus become particularly compelling in looking at the constraints facing Episcopal¹s two current campuses.
The Merion campus, established in 1921 to house a boys' school, has now been coeducational for three decades. With coeducation came the need for additional facilities and more field space.
Over the years, we have reworked the campus to the extent that space has allowed. But no matter what we do, the reality is that Merion was intended for a school of 600 students, not the current enrollment of 900.
For all of these reasons, we have concluded that in order to remain among the top independent day schools in America, Episcopal needs a new, larger, unified campus.

Get the Episcopal Academy mug.Ok so The Episcopal Academy is a very preppy school but there are plenty of students that are not preppy and are "real". it is very main line but so is every other Inter AC School around. Haverford, Anges Irwin, and Baldwin try to call EA a partying preppy school full of nice cars and Main Line Moms, sorry to break it to them but they are too. but oh wait EA is better than them in so much other stuff such as sports. 2005's EA/Haverford/Agnes Irwin Day was great because i mean its not like Haverford or Irwins even had a chance. EA beat Haverford in every sport except for water polo and if anyone saw the football game haverford to a really hard beating that they deserved. And EA also crushed Irwins while they were wearing their bEAt tshirts and decorated their cars thinking that they can just join a tradition with out a porblem. well sorry to break it but no one will ever accept the fact that they join.

Founded in 1839 in Alexandria, Virginia, this boarding school affectionately nicknamed "The High School" is the place to send your kids if you are southern, preppy, athletic, and intelligent. It was the first high school founded in the state of Virginia. The school's biggest academic and athletic rival is Woodberry Forest School in Orange, VA but for the past 15 years or so, Episcopal has been raising its standards of excellence thanks to the admission of females. Episcopal graduates usually attend colleges such as UVA, UNC, UGA, Vanderbilt, Davidson, W&L, Princeton, Harvard, Brown, Yale, Sewanee, Wake Forest, and Tulane. EHS has a tradition of excellence both in and outside of the classroom and tends to attract good-looking, athletic, and bright students. Students at Episcopal spend their free time playing lacrosse, roaming around in lilly, rainbows, and croakies, listening to 94.7 (THE ARROW), hanging out around Dal, or eating Maggie Moos at "The Center".
