motivational paralysis

When you're motivated to get up and get things done but you feel overwhelmed with having to choose where to start. After spending some time planning things out, you find yourself sitting around not really accomplishing anything.

On his day off, Jack wasn't sure how he wanted to spend his day so he spent the entire morning laying in his bed staring at the ceiling. A condition known as motivational paralysis.

amotivational syndrome

A syndrome believed to be connected to consuming (by smoking, eating, vaporizing....) LARGE amounts of marijuana.

It causes a lack of interest in or concern for things that others find moving or exciting.
Causes users to have lapses of complete detachment and indifference.
Suppresses emotions.

of course these are the reasons why people smoke it.:)-~

Jimmy and his friends always stand on that same corner smoking, they never care about anything that happens around them, they must have amotivational syndrome.
