Deoxysphobia

Deoxysphobia is a phobia caused by seeing a thing with cartoonish unrealistic eyes, that are large mostly white and have a small black dot in the center. The ratio between white space and small dot can very.

The name sake is in reference to “Deoxys Crisis!!” (Part 1)) is the 171st episode of Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire. In this episode the main characters encounter a monster from outer space called Deoxys. Deoxys has two large unrealisticly circular white eyes with an un-proportionately small black dot in the center.

Other notible examples are Pewee Hermans trucker scene, the Vacum from Teletubbies and can occur even when a charecter isnt supposed to be scary.

I cant keep watching this cartoon. The characters all have eyes that trigger my deoxysphobia
