When a blond swiss guy unnecessarily corrects or completes what someone is saying in a pompous, presumptuous and sometimes even slightly insolent manner

Stop explaining how the Federal Assembly works, what you are saying isn't even entirely correct.

Someone has to tell that swiss blond guy to stop correcting people eventhough they didn't ask for it. It's dansplaining and it is annoying everyone!

To give overly complicated answers to questions by using a lot of technical terms in an effort to belittle others and make yourself sound intelligent. Often coupled with constant interruptions and a condescending tone.

I just got ear bashed for half an hour of dansplaining when I asked how to tune the telly.

Dadsplaining

Any sentence spoken by a dad to persons younger than himself that begins with, "When I was your age," or, "I'll tell you why that is," or, "If you were smart, here's what you'd do..."

My dad says that when he was my age, phones had cords on them and there was a thing called "long distance." He's been Dadsplaining the old days at me all morning.

When a father or dad starts a sentence with, "I think you'll find"........then proceeds to impress his audience with his array of knowledge, facts and information to ensure that he thinks he is smarter than everyone in the room and that you are only as smart as dog shit.

I think you'll find that dadsplaining means I'm full of shit and I'm just trying to sound smart

Femsplaining

When a female explains something to you, then explains it again as if you didn't understand the first time, and then explains it again to make sure you know she thinks you still don't understand because you wouldn't have needed it explained to begin with.

After fig told me that I needed to squeeze out the sponge after doing the dishes she began femsplaining to me why.
