A Darjet is a large cumbersome animal that is known to inhabit the lower regions of Mehul in Nepal. It is thought to spend the majority of its time in the nest of its parents and eats only bean.

Due to its unsociable attitude, it is often used as slang for a person who is grumpy or rude.

"What's up with you, you are being such a Darjet!"
