Calling Olive Garden "real, authentic Italian food" is culinary heresy!

Culinary Dehydration

The effect of eating either very salty, or very spicy foods which leave you so thirsty, that you feel as if you are literally dehydrated.

"Dude, last night I tried Jamaican food for the first time, and even though that jerk chicken was great, after I got home, I spent the whole night chugging down water by the gallons...I was suffering from Culinary Dehydration!"

Culinary Discomfort

The feeling you get when someone near you is eating a gross combination of food and/or sauces.

Person 1: Do you see that kid over there? What is he eating?

Person 2: Oh that's Person 3, he eats the grossest combinations of food I've ever seen. Looks like today he brought a ham sandwich with ranch dressing and bar-b-que sauce and he's dipping it in his milk and his soup. Gross.

Person 1: That causes me to have a lot of Culinary Discomfort. I wish he would just stop.

A farm that works directly with chefs at nearby restaurants to raise or grow animals or produce specifically for the restaurants' seasonal menu. Contrast with farms that grow for farmer's market and/or CSA sales.

They run a culinary farm: they don't sell at market, only to restaurants.
