A person or a place that just isn’t up to par.

A person- their attitude or way of dress.

A place- dirty, smelly, horrible management.

Used as a descriptive adjective.

“Dude, that store smells horrible, it’s so ghetto” .
“Just saw Sandy, she looks ghetto”!

Fairy Ghetto

The people that have damaged trees, by tagging with graffiti (usually in their teens - twenties) and/or Fairy Doors/Paraphernalia (usually primary school children being encouraged by parents) attached by glue, staples, nails or screws.

Gee this is bad....the areas looking like a "Fairy Ghetto."

Ghetto Coursing

When a person puts a high value item out on display in the night hours in the ghetto, only to lie in wait with a pack of dogs (preferably sight hounds/greyhounds). Once a thief has decided to take action and steal the item, the dogs are let free to chase the assailant(s). The outcome is bet upon before hand.

ghetto applesauce

Cheap hard Cider often found in a brown a brown paper bag or in boxed wine form. In the boxed wine form, the box is immediately discarded in the street and the bag is slapped until emptied.

Shaquanda demaded we scoop some ghetto applesauce to get crunk as hell for the party.
