A hard hat is the hard tip of a turd that is difficult to pass through the rectum. It is usually followed by super soft serve poop, or diarrhea.

Once you get the the hat, you will realize it is a parasitic entity that controls your everyday life. It is implied that you can get if you want it or you can get it if you need but once you get it it becomes a necessity that can be used to get the lean.

Jerin humiliated himself and gave up his sanity for the Hat. He soon began to get suicidal thoughts and he would constantly ask himself, "All this for the money?".
