They tease the guesser with their art work, forcing them to watch until the end, when they finally add the details which enable the guesser to guess. This is a way of prolonging the Drawsomething experience and forcing the guesser to watch in awe as the picture comes together.
It takes forever to guess his drawings because he is into drawforeplay. I had to watch him draw a whole beach scene just so he could draw the actua word - "shell" at the end.
