When you drink the last drink you made right before bed but were too drunk to finish it (or even start it) and you don't want to waste good booze so you shame pound it. Prolonging the imminent shame spiral.

Imagine: A layer of mixer, a layer of liquor and a layer of melted ice.

Give it a stir, good as new.

She woke up to find the multi-layer concoction of a drink she made before she went to bed and instead of wasting it she shame pounded it and went on with her day.

Query Shaming

The act of characterizing someone's SQL queries as inefficient.

Our database administrator (DBA) while reporting on why our server was slow proceeded to engage in some query shaming Ted's queries.
In today's staff meeting our DBA spoke directely to Ted in order to query shame him about some of the queries he had written.

White Shaming

When minorities rag on white people for being outside the loop or cringe because of their whiteness. This can be done to white homies to bust their balls, or to entitled white trash to show them their place. White shaming becomes less fun when white people fo it to themselves.

Minority homie “aye white homie, i bet your ancestors owned slaves didn’t they”
White homie “ahhh, i get it, your white shaming me”

White lady: *prounces literally any word in spanish and gets it wrong

White lady “oooh! I’m so white!”

tube of shame

The London Underground conveniently closes at night from around 0030 to 0500 (because obviously everyone's asleep then).

Catching a 'tube of shame' is when one catches one of the early morning services home after a particularly massive night out, or worse one-night-stand.

The 'shame' is normally attributed to a combination of a comedown/hang-over you have and the reflection time you have on the train as you piece together what actually happened the previous night and how to explain it to friends.

Johnny answers phone
Ben: "... what were you doing last night with that girl/boy?"
Johnny: >>No comment<<
background noise of street/trains etc...
Ben: "Where are you?"
Johnny: >>no comment<< (too hung over, tired/mashed)
Ben (smirking): "Tube of shame :)"
Johnny: >>laughs in acknowledgement and hangs up<<
