Gothic

Gothic is the language of the Goth (Germanic) tribes of early Europe. The were first almost annihilated but the Huns, then became slaves of the Romans. They then derstroyed the Roman armies and attacked Rome, but did not take control over it. They then moved into parts of Spain, France, adn Germany, where they were known as Visigoths. They were the keepers or Rome's enteral flame. Without them, Roman art would have been long lost.

Gothic is not the lifestyle of those who were picked last for games in school and sit around home all day writing lame poetry. You know what you call those people? People who faced adversity, but instead of standing up to it, fell down adn let it go to their heads. So if you are a "goth" and am reading this: take off that god awful make-up, stop shopping at Hot Topic, and live a normal life.

God I hate "goth" kids soooo much.

A stereotypical subculture resulting in the listening to heavy metal, wearing of dark clothes and pentagrams, and much imitation by posers.

Oh, wow, look at how dark her clothing is, she must be gothic. I wonder if that means, she's, like, a Satanist or something? See? She's wearing a pentagram!

People who think they have no purpose on earth(which they dont) and act all depresseed cause their daddy used to touch them in bad places when they were young. They wear all black and all kinds of make up, cut their wrists and hope to die.

Gothic

A person that has given up on life. Wears only black, presumably to complement the color of their soul. Usually wears makeup only so everybody will avoid them and they can be alone. Gothic people are also scary looking.
Gothic dress is generally characterized as extremely baggy pants inexplicably with non-funcional zippers on the seams, any thing black, also with non-functional zippers, and anything to be found at Hot Topic

The gothic kids are always scary.

Gothic

A "lifestyle" in which people want to be different from everyone else and show that they don't care what everyone else thinks.
Sooooo.....
They typically don black eyeshadow, dye their hair black, wear black clothing that makes you think "bondage" and act like they hate the entire world. Typically, not everyone. This way, they can act EXACTLY LIKE everyone else who claims they "want to be different and don't care what everyone else thinks.

Oh come on, we all know someone like that. Poor bastards just need a hug, is what they need.

gothic grunge style

Gothic grunge style is a mixture of soft girl and grunge, as the style has certain aspects of grunge and soft girl too it, while still taking a tiny bit of inspo from goth styles. However, it is mostly grunge. It is almost as if a soft girl were to wear darker colours (black, white, red, burgundy purple..etc) and accessories. e.g (chains, chokers, rings, fishnets, platform shoes, buckles..etc)

This has nothing to do with one's personality/attitude.

She seems to have a gothic grunge style.
