Derrick Effect

The Derrick Effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled people make poor decisions and reach erroneous conclusions, but their incompetence denies them the metacognitive ability to realize their mistakes. The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average, much higher than it actually is. This leads to the situation in which less competent people rate their own ability higher than more competent people.

He thinks he works hard but he is just suffering from the Derrick Effect.

Derrick

Derrick is your average highschooler. Most people refer to him as “pubehead”. He lives a troubled life for he never finds success when he searches for poon. Derrick is the kid who sits by himself at lunch and eats his boogers as a snack. Despite his wierd qualities, Derrick is a funny and caring friend who will entice you with his four inch schlong.

Oh yea I know Derrick, he’s the kid who trims his pubes and glues them to his head.

Derren

Derren is a name for someone who is an edgy fucking bastard. Usually an alpha male upon the virgin group, he is defined as "literally hitler." While he does this for shits and giggles, he fights against some white dude who is the CEO of racism for the position of CEO. His influence on people around him is about as comparable to a black hole, such as making ethnic groups a funny insult and getting his jokes stolen. The cream of the crop is that he is a minority, making the whole situation funnier.

Person 1: Ok, faggit
Person 2:Stop being a Derren, jew
