2. To get willingly poisoned by a substance given to you in good belief, but has a permanently negative effect on you.

It was Friday afternoon and Michelle was getting excited for the weekend. Barry told her to look up Panamanian petting zoo on urban dictionary and suddenly her Friday felt like a Monday.

Discussion at the water cooler: Did you hear? Barry just went into Michelle’s office and Mondayed her. Man, I hate getting Mondayed.

Getting on the cans

An Australian expression for drinking beer. It usually refers to consuming packaged beer away from licensed premises, typically at home or a barbecue. Other types of alcohol are not usually consumed when one is “getting on the cans”.

Well mate, I knock off at 4pm and it’s a quick drive home, so I’ll be getting on the cans by 5pm at the very latest!
