A website that contains words with unrealistic definitions given by the readers. Not recommended for study.

Vocab Homework:
Biology- The study of living things.
Earth- one of the many planets that equate around the sun.
Moon- "to pull your pants down and show your bare ass to unexpecting people."

Urban Dictionary 

An online dictionary that allows anyone to enter a word and define it..
Half of the time the words are defined in sexual, crude, and insulting ways..
People are starting not to like Urban Dictionary because a lot of people define words in ways that many other people don't like..

Urban Dictionary 

Possibly the most irresponsible attempt at information sharing currently in existance. Wikipedia is it's superior in every way imaginable. You will locate multiple meanings of words, concepts and especially names that at their best will only contradict themselves.

Consider me shocked if this entry is actually screened and stopped by Urban Dictionary prior to posting. Other than that, type in virtually anything and read all the entries you get. Gloriously weird.

An online dictionary system. These definitions are written by average people, any one can write them, but only some are published because editors review them to make sure they are factual and or unrelated to inside jokes. This is a fun way to look up words, even though some definitions are innappropriate.

Urban Dictionary 

A 21st century website, similar to a wiki, where any user can submit information defining a particular word, usually slang or other terms not normally defined in a "real" dictionary.

Rampant misspellings, racist, sexist, or other hateful slander against any and all groups of people, but specifically controversial items, such as Boy Scouts of America, Christianity (or any other form of worship), celebrities, social networking, MMORPG's, etc.

I wanted to know the definition of "69" so I looked it up on Urban Dictionary.
