Taking a long nap during the day, Making it difficult to fall asleep later that night.

- "I can't fall asleep, I have been tossing and turning for an hour"
-"Did you take a fools nap today?"
- "Yes"

anti-nap

An hour or two of wakefulness sandwiched by two periods of sleep. Most are wrongly worried when this happens; it was however the historical norm. The practice quietly died out with electric lighting.

Person 1: You get some last night?
Person 2: Yeah, during an anti-nap.

bus nap

Daily public transportation commuters experience this in various forms, head bob, head tilted back, or chin on chest are some varieties. Mouths can be open or closed, and snoring sometimes occurs.

This day was so exhausting I can't wait for my bus nap.

When a giant douche kidnaps a joke in a real-time discussion, then posts it on Facebook for credit, all while simultaneously bragging about his ubber biceps and amazing salary

a potential Douche-napping example:

A old semi-douchey co-worker contacts you via IM. You decide to tell him a joke created by you and no other. He hijacks the joke and posts it on facebook as his own, while simultaneously talking to you about how cool he is!

heat nap

When the heat is so bad your body is condemned to an uncomfortable sleep. You are usually too hot to move and will wake up feeling groggy until you get some fresh, cool air.

Lizbeth Nap

A nap that shouldn't be considered a nap. The person taking a "Lizbeth Nap" sleeps for eternities. The "Lizbeth" sleeps for long periods of time.

OMG, that girl is taking a Lizbeth Nap so she probably won't wake up until tomorrow!!
