1. No Drugs
2. No Premarital sex (apposed to no promiscuous sex)
3. No Alcohol
4. NOT every CSE kid is a self-righteous jerk.
(YES, we still have a good time. We just party sober, oh and that stupid myth that Christians can't have tattoos is ridiculous. Were usually covered.)

A person who is straight-edge,but " breaks edge" by drinking, smoking, or doing drugs, then in turn wishes to become straight-edge again, must commit to sobriety for one whole year to then become full straight-edge once more. Also this person must be under 21 to be reborn and over 21 is considered straight-edge renewed but this requires three years of committing to sobriety.

We are a group of people that would rather go to a hardcore show than get shitfaced at some lame ass club. As far as smoking cigarettes goes, any self-respecting person shouldn't buy them because you're paying to destroy your own lungs. And drugs, well that's the touchy subject. Most of us choose to abstain from drugs because of what they've done in our personal life.

Get the Straight Edgemug. One who begins to act straight edge for fashion, rather than physical or emotional health. Usually poseur straight edges can be identified by being 13-15, ages when most have no choice but to be straight edge, but few choose to flaunt it. Pen-drawn X's on the back of the hands are one of the only things that is similar between a real straight edge and a poseur straight edge. Poseur straight edges are essentially whatever clic the individual was before they found that marker, plus two black x's. These kids usually are not part of the hardcore scene in itself, but try to salvage their integrity by listening to watered-down, cookie cutter hardcore music.
