Lots of people play these. Ask any random person and at least one out of ten will say: "yes, i do play video games." In fact, about 40% of the world's population do. There are billions of these to play. As you will see below, these are ONLY for leisure and NOT for regular use...

What everybody should get for Christmas, no matter their age. Video games tell you a lot about what somebody is like when there's no cameras rolling instead of what they say they're like on TV or on a stage (or a social media page or website), and what they would really be like in the 12th century, for example.
Video games tell you what somebody is really like when nobody is watching, rather than when everybody is watching.

No. They are not a proxy for physical play but I wasn't socialized by the age of 4 so I guess I'm already doomed! DOOMED!! DOOOOOOOMED!!! DOOMED AND DAMNED! So, I'll just keep playing them.
