The ginormous ammount of money that you have to pay for an AE86/ Toyota Corolla Levin / Toyota Sprinter Trueno because of the car's Legend status. Since it's introduction in the popular anime Initial D, the car has skyrocketed in value as collector's, car enthusiasts and weebs want a piece of that Deja Vu feeling.

Context on the anime:
Initial D depicts a guy delivering Tofu through the mountain roads of Japan, while and drifting on the corners. He then starts racing other drivers, usually with better cars than him. This anime is one of the things that propelled drifting in Japan to what it is today.
