scene

What emo evolved into. There are no longer any real emo kids, just scene kids. Some scene kids might claim to be emo. If you think on some weird occasion you see a real emo kid maybe its from a different era than the present. Otherwise, it's probably a scene kid.
I thought I disliked emos but now that all these scene kids have taken over, I really miss them!

Scene

A popular style that some teens describe as their "Lifestyle" some of them even think it's a religion. To be scene you MUST: chop your hair into a mullet, Dye it 1,000 different colors, straighten it all the time, Back comb the shit outta it, and then douse it in hairspray. You MUST wear obnoxious colored clothes and skinny jeans. And you must go on myspace about 1,000 times a day. You have to be "straightedge" but you still drink, smoke pot, and smoke cigs cuz that doesn't count. You also must have lots of piercings and dance like your having a fucking seizure. Oh, and your vegitarian or vegan because it's the cool thing to do these days. And you are usually really rude and not understanding of people who are not scene. Scene kids also spend like their entire lives on myspace commenting all their scene friends and taking "hardxcore" looking photos of themselves.

Scene

A "Sene" kid is usually wearing anything from hot topic.
They try to stand out with their bright, multi-colored hair.
Scene kids hate preppy kids and only hang out with other scene kids. They use weird emoticons like: :3, o.o, owo, o3o, xD and more. Most of them are obsessed with cookies and dinosaurs. They love Blood On The Dance Floor (Terrible band)and Black Veil Brides (Another bad band). Most of them are posers and just try too hard to fit in with other scene kids.

Scene

The difference between "scene" and "emo" kids: Scene kids make OTHER people want to kill themselves!
I'm sure Miranda the scene girl's parents appreciate her multiple piercings, blue hair, and obnoxious attire.

Scene

A concept which trys to break the mold of "conformity".... this has innevitably backfired. As you can see in many urban places scene kids fester in swarms and are hard to tell apart because well.... they are all the same even guys and girls are usually indistinguisable.

in a feeble attempt to be different they start liking obscure things. but alas this will set a trend in motion through all scene kids making them look even more like clones.

In summary a group of people who try to be different and yet end up all exactly the same.
"was that scene kid a girl or guy"
"wats up with that kid" ... "im afraid he's scene"

scene

A kid who partakes in the fashion of "the scene". Typically highschool age kids. Scene refers to the music scene, which includes music with screaming, breakdowns, and fast tempos. This music is often referred to as screamo. Scene kids typically wear tight clothing (both girls and boys), with things such as scarves, chains, and skating shoes. Piercings and tattoos are a large part of the scene style as well. Both scene girls and boys wear their hair straightened, and also usually have their hair colored. They also wear makeup, regardless of sex. Many scene kids go to shows often, and they typically stay within their own social group. Not to be confused with goths or emos.
That chick over there with straightened black and blonde hair, with super tight pants, a super tight v-neck, wearing DC's, a chain, a white studded belt, and a red and black scarf is a scene chick.
