Twitter Standard Time

Twitter Standard Time is the modern equivalent of the CNN era "Do Something Syndrome," where the pressure to "Do Something" in politics, globally is virtually instantaneous.

J: My grad school mentor called it the "Do-Something Syndrome." And it's pretty powerful.

S: Yes, that is exactly what it is. And with media saturation, it's only worse. DOSOMETHING! NOW!!!!!!1!

J: "No, we live on the internet era equivalent, it's called Twitter Standard Time!"

Seaton Standard Time

This is a special time zone that is always running 30 to 45 minutes behind the local time zone.

Will said he would be here at 1:00, so probably more like 1:30. He's running on Seaton Standard Time.

Perfectly Standard Elevator

Perfectly Standard Elevator (PSE) WAS a popular elevator game made by Jukereise (named Jupiter_Five at the time), who is now known for creating JTOH - Juke's Towers Of Hell. PSE was popular back in 2016 until about 2019. PSE was known for being unique - including boss fights, lore, secrets, and even boss variants. Unfortunately, the game stopped being worked on sometime in 2019. Fortunately, a revamp of PSE, named Perfectly Standard Elevator: Reloaded (PSE:R) had started development in around December 2021, which is now currently in beta. PSE:R is a good game, I recommend you try.

The Beer Standard

The beer standard is a scale for measuring the attractiveness of an individual. The measurement is made in beers, for how many beers it would take to make a person look like a perfect 10. For example a perfect 10 would be a 0 on the Beer Standard Scale(BSS for short).

This scale does away with the ambiguity that is inherent within the "out of ten" scale.

That girl you hooked up with last night was about a 4 on the beer standard scale

A lowered expectation of male attractiveness causing you to find normally substandard specimens reasonably good looking. Usually applies when in a city with an abnormally low percentage of attractive males. A dangerous phenomenon that can result in poor decision making, such as sleeping with street magicians you meet in Monoprix. Also known as "the Mulhouse standard"

gold standard

The gold standard is a monetary system in which a region's common media of exchange are paper notes that are normally freely convertible into pre-set, fixed quantities of gold. Currently there are no governments that use the gold standard however, the United States used to use the gold standard before the Federal Reserve System who is a cartel took over secretly on a island off of the state of Georgia. Ever since the gold standard was taken over in 1913 by the FED, the value of money went down and the cost of living went up. The paper money we use today is called fiat.

The United States can only get out of it's 10 trillion dollar debt by getting rid of the Federal Reserve System and going back to the gold standard where ther is no inflation.
