Pots

A word used to describe anything that sucks, or is in any way shape of form not cool. Coming from the word "paila" in colombian slang which means "that sucks". It's not pronounced Pots, it's pronounced "poats" with a dry O.

Oh dude, my math teacher is totally pots, he failed me!... pots.

Said as a drawn-out, menacing warning of upcomming misfortune. A sign of impending doom. Indicates an on-comming accident or peril. Usually the prequal to getting Arrowed.

Potsie

A game played by kids in New York City, having some resemblance to Hop Scotch. Often played on a concrete driveway or sidewalk using the squares formed by control joints or "cracks" as "boxes". Also, the marker itself used in Potsie

"Me and Vinney played potsie yesterday."

"Hey, we can use my driveway for a game of Potsy"

possum grape

A wild grape ranging from Florida to northern Mexico to Kansas. It is about the size of a pencil erasure and half seed. The vines grow to 30 feet and up to the tips of tall tree limbs making them difficult to spot and harvest. Intensely flavored they make great jelly and wine. Collecting a bushel of the bunches will make a few batches of jelly.

This possum grape jelly is delicious on toast!
