Get the poser mug.A poser is someone who acts like someone he/she is not to act cool. A poser will pretend to know all the latest trends that apply to the group he/she is trying to fit in with, but the poser will actually have no clue whatsoever.
This term mostly applies to stupid girls who try to act like Queen Bees they see on TV, by acting even MORE retarded (and telling people about it), speaking in a nasaly tone, acting like a drama queen (and being proud of it), pretending to have Paris Hilton-related problems, dropping names of designer brands she obviously doesn't wear, and/or claiming that she is a trash talker even though a 3 year old's putdowns could make her burst into fake tears.
