scene kids

Kids who whore themselves on a daily basis on myspace.

They have no originality whatsoever.

They decorate their myspaces with pictures of diamonds, bats, gloomy bears, hello kitty, and other shit.

A lot of them are self-absorbed and are bitches, but no, not all of them are.

Some of them are actually nice.

Most of them claim to be -in love- with photography.

Most claim to be vegetarian/vegan.

Not to be racist, but the majority of them are white.

They call all their "scene friends" nigga, nigg, nigz, nigglet, or whatever. But they don't have the guts to say it in public towards blacks.

They have names like:
Jackie Chanel.
Tommy Terror.
Minnie Murder.
Lisa Hollywood.

A lot of the scene girls have raccoon stripes in their hair.

They wear tight pants, both girls and boys.

They claim to be anti-mainstream, even though the way they dress IS becoming mainstream.

A lot of them look up to Kiki Kannibal, Jeffree Star, Audrey Kitching, etc.
LexiiStarxx: zomg bby. me and you are ttly cute scene kids. fer sure! let's make babies. rawrrr.

Welfare Kids

A term I coined personally during my time playing Call of Duty: Black Ops. (Aka: Christmas Kids.)

This is a derogatory term used to express hatred towards split-screeners during online multi-player. As most COD gamers are aware, split-screeners are usually horrible and do more harm than good in any game type.

The meaning behind "Welfare Kids" is that the majority of split-screeners (some, not all) cannot afford their own PS3 or XBOX, so therefore in order to enjoy the COD experience, they play on their friend's console in split-screen. Its highly ironic though in some situations that the second player does better than the first player.

I, personally, have yet to play a round in TDM (etc) where a Welfare Kid has been on top at the end of a match. (One exception, college buddies of mine in FL were playing in the others dorm room and were split-screen playing, in which case they both did considerably well since they usually kick @$$ solo.)

2000s kid

A person who largely spent/remembered most of their childhood in the 2000s. Typically born from 1995-2003.

Listened to Britney Spears, Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas.

Played on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, Wii.

Typically watched YouTube since its conception in 2005, and knows all about the old YouTube.

Probably didn't grow up with an iPhone during their time, but most definitely had an iPod touch or an iPad.

Most likely watched Cars, Monsters, Inc, Up, Spy Kids, WALL-E, Shrek, Madagascar as a kid.
Person: I remember listening to Black Eyed Peas on my 1st generation iPod touch when I was a young kid.
Other person: Ah, you must be a 2000s kid.
Person: Yep, 2001 and proud.
Other person: You must remember playing on your Nintendo DS that time too, right?
Person: Yeah, Mario Kart DS was THE thing!

emo kid

Just another person in the world, Normaly can see the world for what it really is. Sometimes likes to listen to music with more meaning then most other music types. Does not like to be noticed or care what you think. Can't stand the wanna-be emo kids who focus on how they look.

Scene Kid

Scene kids are kids that believe they are listening to music and creating a style that has never been done before.
Scene had another name 25 years ago. That name was called New Wave and it wasn't considered cool to be part of the scene, it was considered freakish.
This was at a time when wearing a label
that was unique at such a time, could be acceptable as an alternative to mainstream culture.
Scene is a confused genre, because the kids that mainly call themselves scene
change the rules for what scene is and isn't daily. This tells everyone else that scenesters are posers and they are not sure of what they are doing, along with giving no reference to the ungerground anti-fashions that originally gave their subconscience the idea that they stole.
The best way to be scene, is to NOT be scene! Stop coming up with boring labels to fit in or shock people.
It's 2008, and the glam meets drag look was original when David Bowie, Divine, Boy George, Pete Burns and Robert Smith had done it during a time when these types were just trying to create something new along with b eing themselves, thus it was not accepted so greatly until future times.
That was true scene!
If you must have a label, then you are insecure and if you aren't going to give old school new romantic, punk, and wavers
any credit for ripping off their look, then you must be banished into complete ignorant bliss.

Hardcore kid

Contrary to popular belief, hardcore has almost nothing to do with the emo culture.
Hardcore music, which can very loosely be tied to emo music because of the screaming/yelling, is usually about morals and life itself. Instead of screaming, "I would very much like to kill myself," these individuals are singing things more along the lines of "I will never give up my dreams."

The typical "hardcore kid" can be found wearing any assortment of clothes, from gym shorts and hoodies to skinny jeans and baggy T's.
Along with these basics of apparel, hardcore kids often have tattoo's, gauges, short hair and sometimes keep their facial hair.

Typical hardcore bands include:
Have Heart,
Verse,
Life Long Tragedy,
Comeback Kid,
Converge,
Did you see that hardcore kid kick that emo fag in the face?

Scene Kids

Scene kids are described as 'happy emos'. They (scene guys) normally have a fluffy emo fringe died black or bleached blonde or brown such as teh guitarist from teh band Tonight Is Goodbye. They listen to scene music which is bands liek Hadouken and NEVER lsiten to mainstream bands or bands that non scene kids have heard of. Scene guys are obsessive about stars. Stars on tees, hoodies, hats, belts etc. THey wear brands like Drop Dead, Paint The Stars, Atticus, Robolove etc. with skinny jeans if any colour. Scene girls wear and are exactly teh same.
They are coool. And there are many posers. Oh and Scene guys will pull other scene guys to impress scene girls. Oh and if a scene band touches teh charts the scene kids never listen to it again.
